Knockmealdowns

The Knockmealdown mountain range is located along the borders of County Tipperary and County Waterford. The most notable feature of the range is a high mountain pass known as “The Vee”. This area is renowned for its scenic views and the mythology around a lake known as “Bay Lough”, which sits opposite Sugarloaf Hill.

From the top of Sugarloaf there is a fantastic view of Slievenamon to the northeast, and the flatlands of South Tipperary all around.
